Yesterday was a huge victory for me; I finished editing my third book, Abba, Father! A Journey to Knowing the Father in His Greatest Role of All.
What does this mean? As a self-published author, it means now I wait for my editor to review the manuscript and return it to me with corrections that I will approve.
How long does it take to be published from this point? It depends. There may be many corrections, or only a few. After all corrections have been approved, I review the manuscript one more time for any additional errors. This usually takes me another week or two. After this, it gets uploaded along with the cover to Kindle Direct Publishing. It takes KDP a few days to publish it. I will purchase an author copy and check it over one more time. Then I'll tell others it's ready for purchase.
